The purpose of Innorobo is to gather leading entrepreneurs, start-ups, brilliant individuals from Research laboratories, CEOs and decision makers from large groups, who will be impacted by robotics technologies…and investors from Asia, Europe and USA so as to accelerate the emergence of this promising field.

Having focused on service robotics for the past 6 years , we developed an expertise of the worldwide robotics ecosystem, we meet and discuss with most of the players in that field and try to help the overall service robotics industry. To keep up to the promises of market studies, stating the market will grow from US$ 4.2 bn to US$ 22 bn in the next three years (IFR worldwide service robotics publication), we believe we need a minima two things to occur:

1.The alignment of key players in various industries from the digital, utilities, services and robotics worlds. Robotics is both a vertical technological field and a transversal dynamic. Convergence of ICT and Robotics technologies is to be facilitated and Innorobo is working hard on making sure these two worlds meet and understand each other. Hence, we try to connect to appropriate networks and develop a program of “hosted visitors” at Innorobo.

2.Funding at seed and development stages of the robotics start-ups, blooming out of Research laboratories and of talented engineers. The robotics start-ups are very often technology orientated and they need advices and funds to go to the industrialization phase and start a business (marketing/sales) strategy. Thus, we are creating a “Call for Start-ups” for INNOROBO 2013 and a panel of high level investors to “label”  selected start-ups so they gain access to capital ventures contacts and a coaching program to become more consumers and business driven.
