INNOROBO: On Wednesday 14th of march, Valérie Bauwens will talk about « 7 steps for integrating a robot in your daily routine »

on 17 February 2012.

Valérie Bauwens is a strong advocate of “human centric” decision processes, and particularly based on ethnographic field research. Since 2010, she is also leading her own company, Human Centricity. Her main activities remain: watching people in their daily life and daily environments, decipher the mechanisms behind their behaviours in order to conceive and improve products, services and practices.

In 2011, in collaboration with the EPFL (Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne), she applied to the robotic world her expertise about adoption of technology, as she studied how families integrated or not a vacuum-cleaning robot in their daily routines.

Valerie Bauwen’s speech will take place on wednesday afternoon, during the Human Robot Interactions conference cycle.
