THE ROBOT STUDIO

The Robot Studio is currently part of the ECCERobot consortium which received FP7 funding for a three-year project to produce a compliant humanoid robot based as closely as possible on the anatomical design of the human body.
Such robots can achieve highly natural movements by exploiting the same passive dynamics as the real human body and have some very significant advantages over industrial robots in terms of security, cost and interaction with objects and people in the domestic environment.
The Robot Studio is a French company based in Divonne-les-bains and is responsible for the design and construction of the complete hardware platform.
